Bonaveri was founded in 1953 in Ferrara, Italy during the era of the great economic miracle and reconstruction period. Bonaveri has since become a global leader and synonymous with high-quality mannequins. Bonaveri now produces 15,000 mannequins annually, ranging from the iconic Schläppi forms to the couture-inspired Bonaveri Sartorial and realistic figures through its 2019 acquisition of Adel Rootstein.
Pioneering sustainability, Bonaveri introduced the first biodegradable mannequin in 2016 to the market. t, a new bioplastic composed of 72% sugarcane derivatives - treated with BPaint paints, made exclusively with natural pigments and solvents.
Founded by sculptor Romano Bonaveri alongside his wife Adele, the company’s success was nurtured by their creativity and dedication. Today, under the leadership of their sons, Andrea and Guido, Bonaveri continues its legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.
